DESCRIPTION:March 7: Rosie the Riveter reenactment by Mary Ann Jung. The Easton Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will celebrate the 250 years of our nation by presenting a reenactment of Rosie the Riveter at 10:30am at the Talbot County Free Library in Easton. Mary Ann Jung will present the story of Rossie the Riveter through the eyes of Rose Leigh Monroe who\, during World War II\, worked at the largest aircraft factory in the world-Willow Run Michigan. Mary Ann Jung is an award-winning actress and Smithsonian Scholar who performs delightful and inspiring shows about many amazing women in history. AAUW’s Easton Branch has been empowering\, inspiring\, educating and advocating for women for 68 years\, and the national organization has been a leading voice promoting education equity and opportunity for women and girls since 1881. will celebrate our nation’s anniversary by recognizing the importance of women throughout the 250 years. The program is open to the public.

Details below. \n \nReceive a Simpatico Tasting Glass and Enjoy 8 wines and 5 chocolates ($15)\, or 16 wines and 10 chocolates ($25) Tastings of hand-selected wines and an assortment of Italian chocolates. You will also be able to taste an assortment of Simpatico food and cheese products.  \n \nYou will be presented with 8 or 16 tickets when you check in for registration at Simpatico with a bag of Italian chocolates.
