Along with the 4-H and FFA exhibits of livestock, crafts, vegetable crops, photography, and numerous other entries, there will be games at the Community Midway, kids activities, and free, guided painting and drawing classes each night.
“The Talbot County Fair is the essence of a true country fair,” said Sean Clougherty, fair committee chairman. “It brings together old friends. It’s a place to make new friends from the community and it’s loaded with fun things to do for the whole family.”
The fair opens to the community on Friday July 15 with midway games, commercial vendors, bouncy houses, and other activities. Members of the St. Michael’s Art League will offer painting lessons and a bingo event and pit beef dinner will also be part of Friday’s festivities.
