WE ARE ON A MISSION
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of the Mid-Shore believes every child who’s been abused, neglected, or abandoned deserves to have a dedicated advocate speaking up in court, at school, and in our community for what they need in order to thrive. To accomplish this, we educate and empower diverse community volunteers who work to ensure each child’s needs remain a priority in a burdened child welfare system. Our ultimate goal is to be a consistent advocate until each child is living in a safe, permanent home. To meet that goal, we always need more Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers.
YOU CAN HELP! We ask YOU to spread the message about our unique work when talking with your friends, family, and contacts in Talbot, Dorchester, Queen Anne’s, and Kent Counties. We encourage and welcome people to contact us via our website, www.casamidshore.org, or by calling 410-822-2866 ex.6 for detailed information about becoming a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer.
