Grace Street and Neighborhood Service Center Host Community Block Party at Webb’s Hope

Grace Street, in partnership with the Neighborhood Service Center, invites the community to a free Community Block Party at Webb’s Hope from 4pm to 7pm on Saturday, July 11.
The event is designed to bring people together for an afternoon of fun, connection, and community-building. Attendees can enjoy family friendly activities, games, music, food and opportunities to connect with local organizations serving Talbot County.
Hosted outside of Webb’s Hope on West Street, the block party aims to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone, including people and families who may face barriers to accessing services, those experiencing financial hardship, people in recovery, and anyone seeking stronger community connections.
“Community thrives when people have opportunities to connect, build relationships, and access support in a welcoming environment,” said Kelley Callaghan, founder and executive director of Grace Street. “This event is about bringing people together, celebrating resilience, and ensuring everyone knows they belong.”
“The neighborhood surrounding Webb’s Hope is vibrant, welcoming, and home to many wonderful residents,” said Andy Hollis, Executive Director of the Neighborhood Service Center (NSC). “The opportunity to come together for fellowship and goodwill is exciting and long overdue. NSC hopes that all will collectively join us as we celebrate all that which makes this neighborhood so special.”
Throughout the event, attendees will have access to information about local resources related to housing, food assistance, recovery support, health services, and other community programs. Activities for children and adults will be available throughout the afternoon.
The Community Block Party is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
