Easton’s Holiday Parade Returns
Join the holiday festivities downtown at the annual Easton Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 5, at 6:30pm. Enjoy a variety of decorated vehicles, floats, and novelties as they spread holiday cheer during this beloved community tradition.
The evening begins at 5:30pm with a visit from Santa in Thompson Park, followed by the tree lighting at 6pm. Arrive early to see Santa light the holiday tree before he rushes downtown to join the parade.
The parade begins at 6:30pm, traveling from Easton Elementary School down Glenwood Avenue and then onto North Washington Street, passing a panel of judges at the Talbot County courthouse. The procession will continue going north on Washington, looping around onto North Harrison Street heading south and proceeding down South Street and South Washington and back to Glenwood Avenue. Each Entry will be judged in three categories: Best Nonprofit, Best Business, and Best Marching Band.
“The great thing about this parade is that everyone in Easton comes together to enjoy it and be a part of the celebration,” said Tom Maglio, Events and Marketing Manager of the Easton Economic Development Corporation. “You feel the excitement surge through the streets, and you get to see the community’s creativity and love on display year after year. It’s always a fun event to be a part of.”
