Enjoy an inspiring weekend painting Tilghman Island, Maryland with Walt Bartman, an internationally known artist, who has a studio on Tilghman Island.

Walt Bartman began running workshops on Tilghman Island in 1984. He was inspired by this island of watermen who have fished the waters of the Chesapeake for centuries. The island has attracted thousands of artists. It is known for its skipjacks, fishermen, drawbridge, marshes, and sunsets. Walt Bartman will demonstrate how to paint water, boats, clouds, sunsets, and night paintings. This workshop is for all levels of students. A highlight is an optional crab feast.
