Oct. 10: BOATYARD BASH. “Where Heritage Drops Anchor,” to benefit the Richardson Maritime Museum, noon to 6pm at 103 Hayward St., Cambridge, Md. Waterfront family event including live music (Chesapeake Sons, The G Method), Boatworks/Museum tours, maritime presentations by local historians, antique boats & cars, oysters, food/beer trucks, artisans, nonprofits, family activities, and “Battle of the Boatyards: The Block Championship.” Proceeds help to support the Museum as it preserves the rich maritime boatbuilding traditions of Dorchester County and the Chesapeake Bay.
