Sharing Wisdom Well

Many people reach a stage of life where they want to give back by supporting others— former colleagues, family members, friends, or mentees— but aren’t always sure how to be most helpful. This course is designed for people who already bring experience, perspective, and good intentions, but want a bit more skill and structure in their mentoring conversations. It is equally well suited for those who feel ready to mentor, but would appreciate some guidance in getting started.
This practical, interactive workshop focuses on the elements that make mentoring truly effective: listening with intention, asking thoughtful questions, clarifying goals, adding structure to conversations, and offering feedback in ways that are both supportive and useful. You’ll have opportunities to practice these skills with peers and reflect on how to apply them in real‑life relationships.
Whether you are mentoring former colleagues, family members, friends, or volunteering as a mentor in formal programs, this course helps you use your wisdom in ways that genuinely support others.
