Working Artists Forum announces Talbot250 art exhibition

Shorelines of Time: Celebrating Talbot250, a community-centered art exhibition, explores the landscapes, livelihoods, and stories that define life on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Viewers are invited to experience Talbot County through the eyes of local artists, whose works reflect the region’s rich heritage and natural beauty. The exhibition opens May 2 and runs through June 28 at The Market at Dover Station, 500 Dover Road in Easton. A reception will be held on May 9 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
As part of this Talbot250 event, a paper quilt made by the public will also be on display at Dover Station. Several hundred members of the community have written a few lines about their connection to Talbot County on individual quilt pieces. They have been assembled into a large quilt by members of the Working Artists Forum. Visitors to Dover Station can help create a second, smaller Talbot Paper Quilt on May 2 from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
