Zaxbys to Open Easton Location in July

Easton residents won’t have to wait much longer to get their hands on Zaxby’s famous chicken fingers and wings. The popular quick-service restaurant chain is scheduled to open its newest location in July at 8275 Ocean Gateway in Easton, the former Wendy’s site along U.S. Route 50.
The Easton restaurant is part of Zaxby’s expansion into Maryland and the Eastern Shore. The company’s first Eastern Shore location opened in Cambridge in late 2025, with additional restaurants planned for Easton and the West Ocean City/Berlin area.
Founded in Georgia in 1990, Zaxby’s is best known for its hand-breaded, marinated chicken fingers, signature sauces, chicken sandwiches, wings, salads, and Southern-inspired menu offerings. The chicken fingers remain the brand’s most popular menu item and can be customized with a variety of sauces and meal combinations.
Today, Zaxby’s operates more than 950 locations across the United States. The states with the highest number of restaurants are Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida.
The Easton location will offer dine-in service, pickup, and curbside pickup. Operating hours are 10am-11pm daily.
