The 2026 Talbot County Fair is scheduled for Thursday, July 9 through Saturday, July 11 at the Talbot Agriculture and Education Center, 10659 Hiners Lane, Easton. The Talbot County Fair highlights the area’s rural lifestyle by hosting animal shows, children’s activities, midway games and food vendors, special events, and opportunities

Celebrate the legacy of “Boats Built in Michigan & the Midwest” and immerse yourself in a weekend of history, artistry, and adventure. See more than 100 rare vintage boats and enjoy fascinating boating history talks, family activities, free boat rides, and artisans’ wares — all situated at the renowned Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (CBMM). This is your chance to connect with passionate boaters, artists, and collectors from across the region.

The community is invited to celebrate the official ribbon cutting for newly-installed play equipment at Golton Park. This special event marks the completion of significant park improvements designed to enhance recreation and outdoor enjoyment for local children and families.

Students from Easton High School (EHS) and St. Michaels High School (SMHS) recently traded classrooms for cockpits during a sponsored field trip to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. The excursion was made possible through the funding and support of the Easton Airport Aviation Career Education (ACE) Program.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of the Mid-Shore believes every child who’s been abused, neglected, or abandoned deserves to have a dedicated advocate speaking up in court, at school, and in our community for what they need in order to thrive. To accomplish this, we educate and empower diverse community volunteers who work to ensure each child’s needs remain a priority in a burdened child welfare system. Our ultimate goal is to be a consistent advocate until each child is living in a safe, permanent home. To meet that goal, we always need more Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers.

The Town of Easton Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce that registration is now open for its 2026 Summer Youth Sports Camps. These camps offer local children a fun, active, and engaging way to build skills and stay active this summer.
