June 21-July 4: The Easton Carnival. Come enjoy rides, food, music and fireworks! The carnival will be open from 6-10pm. On July 4th the Carnival will be open from 4-11pm and as soon as it gets dark the fireworks will light up the sky!

July 4: St. Michaels Museum will once again sponsor its traditional Independence Day Celebration at the Museum on the corner of East Chestnut Street and St. Mary’s Square. Events will start at 10am with the Children’s Parade. At 11am the Traditional Program will begin with Boy Scout Troup 741 raising

July 5: Fireworks in the Town of Oxford. Sponsored by the Tred Avon Yacht Club, the Oxford fireworks show celebrates Independence Day on the “Strand” – the beautiful riverside street along the Tred Avon River. July 6: In celebration of Independence Day, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum will host Big Band Night, inviting guests to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets for an evening of music, dancing, and fireworks along the Miles River. The rain date for the concert and fireworks is July 7.
