Tides of Grace: Creating Waves of Hope on the Eastern Shore
On March 21, 2026, the Kent Island Resort will transform into a vibrant tropical escape for the Second Annual Tides of Grace Island Beach Bash, a benefit concert and community celebration supporting one of the Eastern Shore’s most impactful nonprofits. Guests will enjoy live music from the Chris Sacks Band, an opening performance by Emily Guemple, an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres from the resort’s signature stations, exciting auction items, and brand-new this year — auction trips to Costa Rica, Las Vegas, and more.
But behind the fun and tropical atmosphere lies a deeper purpose: every ticket and sponsorship fuels life-changing outreach for families facing hardship right here in our community.
Anchored in Compassion
Tides of Grace, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Queen Anne’s County that serves the entire Eastern Shore, is known for meeting people where they are — with no judgment, no requirements, and no barriers. Their mission is simple but powerful: to walk alongside individuals and families during life’s storms with essentials, kindness, and consistent support. Their mission is simple: Supporting the shore through kindness and compassion.
Each month, the organization serves more than 400 local community members through:
• Emergency crisis relief
• The J29 Crisis Response Room
• Special needs inclusion programs
• Senior citizen support
• Clothing, food, diaper, and hygiene distributions
• Family outreach events and acts of kindness
• Assistance following tragedy, homelessness, or sudden loss
From providing socks to someone living in a tent, to outfitting children with new clothes, to supporting families affected by domestic violence or recovery challenges, Tides of Grace ensures no one faces hardship alone. These efforts are funded entirely by donations, grants, and events like the Island Beach Bash.
