Hundreds of brave — and slightly chilly — souls are expected to gather at the Tred Avon Yacht Club on Saturday, February 7, 2026, for the fourth annual Oxford Plunge into the Tred Avon River, a mid-winter tradition that proves this small town has a very big heart. Participants of all ages will dash, dip, or dive into the icy waters in support of the Oxford Volunteer Fire Department and EMS (OVFD), which relies on donations to help fund life-saving equipment, training, and emergency services. Spectators are encouraged to line the waterfront, cheer on their favorite plungers, and enjoy the festive atmosphere complete with drinks, Doc’s Sunset Grille’s crab soup, and plenty of photo-worthy moments.

The Oxford Community Center Board of Trustees is proud to present the 42nd Oxford Fine Arts Fair, returning May 15–17, 2026, at the Oxford Community Center (200 Oxford Rd., Oxford, MD). This beloved three-day exhibition and sales event highlights outstanding local and regional artists while supporting the year-round cultural programming of the Community Center.

Community Center, is having Learn to Curl sessions on January 10th and on the 31st at 12:00 noon. The St. Michaels Art League (SMAL) is pleased to present a Mixed Media exhibit during the month of January at the St. Michaels Community Center.
Mixed Media is art that uses at least two different mediums. It may include assemblages, collages and more, and uses a variety of mediums: paints, cloth, paper, wood, found objects etc.

The Academy Art Museum (AAM) proudly announces the opening of Rauschenberg 100: New Connections, a landmark exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of Robert Rauschenberg’s birth. Presented with generous funding from the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, the exhibition places Easton on the global stage as one of the premier U.S. sites participating in the international centennial.
