Easton Town Council to Host Town Hall Discussions at Easton Firehouse
In the coming weeks, each Town of Easton ward representative will host a public Town Hall Discussion. The discussions will serve to inform and educate the public on current and upcoming Town projects, and provide an open forum for public feedback.
These sessions will be held at the Easton Firehouse, located at 315 Leonard Rieck Drive in Easton, and will take place from 7pm-8pm on the following dates:
WARD 4 – Hosted by Ward 4 Council Member Rev. Elmer Neal Davis, Jr. – Wednesday, May 6
WARD 1 – Hosted by Ward 1 Council Member Maureen Curry – Monday, May 11
WARD 2 – Hosted by Ward 2 Council Member Robert Rankin – Tuesday May 12
WARD 3 – Hosted by Ward 3 Council Member David Montgomery – Wednesday May 13
“There are many decisions facing Easton that will impact the town’s future,” said Council President Don Abbatiello. “Just like we did in the fall, the council will be hosting a series of town hall meetings for each ward. We are looking to keep residents informed and receive their input on important issues like the comprehensive plan and the annual budget. Please consider coming out and having your voice heard.”
Each session is free to attend and open to the public. Seating will be available on a first come first served basis. While an RSVP is not required, each Town Hall discussion can be viewed and RSVP’d to on the Town’s Facebook page under events. If residents are unsure about which ward they belong to, they can use Easton’s Interactive Ward Map to determine their designation.
