Have you ever been told you have an eye for capturing the moment? Perhaps a passion for photography? Do you love your local waterways and want to promote and protect them? ShoreRivers is running its annual photo contest from August through October, so snap a picture and send it our way! Your photo could be seen across the Eastern Shore—contest photos are featured in ShoreRivers’ print and digital publications as well as at our events, which collectively reach thousands of people each year.

Talbot SAVES…Expanded Capabilities and New Name for Public Defibrillator Stations!

Talbot Paramedic Foundation and Talbot County Department of Emergency Services has announced a new name for their nationally recognized Public Access Defibrillator (PAD) program, as well as an expanded range of emergency situations that can be addressed with by-stander intervention.
The newly named program will be called Talbot CARES, or Cardiac Arrest Rescue- Emergency Station.

Eastern Shore Threshermen to Hold62nd Annual Show August 4, 5, & 6

Summertime means it is time for one of the area’s most popular events – the Eastern Shore Threshermen & Collectors Assoc., Inc.’s 63rd annual Wheat Threshing, Steam & Gas Engine Show will be held August 4, 5, 6, 2023. The showgrounds are located on Rt. 313 between Denton and Federalsburg, Maryland. The show features free admission and free parking and opens at 10am each day.
