Tides of Grace Invites Families from Across Maryland’s Eastern Shore to Come Together for Family Fun Day

Tides of Grace invites families from across Maryland’s Eastern Shore to come together for Family Fun Day 2026, taking place Saturday, September 12, from 2:00–5:00pm at the Caroline County 4-H Park in Denton, Maryland. While the event is being held in Caroline County, Family Fun Day is truly an Eastern Shore community event, welcoming families from Talbot, Queen Anne’s, Caroline, Kent, Dorchester and surrounding counties. More than 700 people joined Tides of Grace for Family Fun Day last year, and this year the nonprofit has rented the entire Caroline County 4-H Park to make room for an even bigger celebration. Best of all, admission, activities, entertainment and refreshments are completely free for families.
Guests can expect an afternoon packed with something for nearly every age, including multiple inflatables and obstacle courses, a special area for children ages three and under, carnival and giant yard games, craft and activity stations, face painting, temporary tattoos, a balloon artist, petting zoo, foam party, photo booth, dunk tank and more. Scheduled entertainment will include Music Bingo and the Tides of Talent Show, giving local community members an opportunity to take the stage and share their talents. Families will also be treated to complimentary favorites including hot dogs and chips, popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy, soft pretzels and other refreshments. Local businesses, vendors and community organizations will be set up throughout the park, making the afternoon a true celebration of the people and organizations that make the Eastern Shore such a special place to call home.
Family Fun Day is made possible through the generosity of local businesses, organizations, volunteers and community partners, and additional sponsors and vendors are still being welcomed. Sponsorship opportunities allow businesses to directly help keep Family Fun Day free while receiving recognition leading up to the event through social media spotlights and at Family Fun Day through event signage and other recognition. Vendor opportunities are also available for local businesses interested in showcasing and selling their products to hundreds of families. Tides of Grace is also accepting participants for the Tides of Talent Show and volunteers to assist with inflatables, games, activity stations, free food stations and other areas throughout the event.
